Environmental Management Internship Exchange Program As a co-operation between environmental managers in Sweden and the Baltic countries, the Swedish Association of Environmental Managers arranged an internship program during the period 1998-2001. The aim was to create an exchange of experience and knowledge that would benefit both parts. The program was open for environmental managers, or persons in similar positions, in the Baltic states. These persons were invited to take part in the work at the environmental department of a Swedish company for one or two weeks. The Swedish Association of Environmental Managers covered some of the costs for travel and accommodation, the rest was paid by the visiting organisation.
